WHAT IS LAKECITY REBOOT?
LakeCity Reboot espouses the 3Rs of sustainability – Reduce, Reuse and Recycle – throughout its everyday operations. Our Reboot team assesses computers and other related machinery to verify if they are salvageable. If the technology is reparable, our clients will erase the machine’s hard drive and rebuild the system. If our clients are unable to give a computer a second life, it will be striped and recycled. Rebuilt Computers typically include Windows 10 and 2GB of RAM and are sold at an affordable price.
From February to July 2019, we are collaborating with Nova Scotia ACORN to launch a community-based Computer Enrichment Program. As such, we are seeking donations of computers and other devices for refurbishment, storage and distribution. Our Reboot team will recycle your donated items, selling them at affordable prices and making them more accessible. In donating to the program, you can help low-income families in Nova Scotia get online and stay connected. To support the program, visit ACORN Canada.
You can also support LakeCity Reboot by donating or purchasing various items on-site at LakeCity Works. For more information, email us at email@example.com or call us at 902-465-5000 ext. 110.
